Cuisinart Electric Pressure Cookers
The rest of this article will provide an overview of some of the pressure cookers from Cuisinart that can be taken into account. The brand name in itself is already enough reason to trust the reliability of these models.
By the end of the article, you can decide which one will specifically prove to be best for your kitchen needs.
The safety mechanism of this pressure cooker is one of the reasons you should consider this model. The pressure cooking will not start until you are sure that the lid is locked. Additionally, the lid cannot be removed once it is certain that all of the pressure has been exhausted.
Other features made this pressure cooker safe to use. A pressure limit valve will automatically release steam when the unit’s pressure goes beyond what the user initially set. If other pressure cooker manufacturers will implement these safety features, I expect these cookers will be allowed in places like dorms where they are currently banned.
Many of its users have lauded the elegant look of this pressure cooker. The exterior is made of brushed stainless steel that is finger-proof. Surely, it will add sophistication when it is placed in any kitchen.

Cuisinart CPC-600 vs Instant Pot Ultra
I will compare the Cuisinart CPC-600 vs Instant Pot Ultra 6 Quart model.
Cuisinart CPC-800 8-Quart Pressure Cooker
Cuisinart CPC-800 is a larger cousin of CPC600 and shares most of its features.
The CPC-800 from Cuisinart is our first choice in terms of price performance. It’s also our favorite in terms of size, as 8 quarts is the largest size you’ll find in this price range. This eight-quart pressure cooker has two pressure settings – high and low – and a browning option, making it a versatile everyday cooking tool that’s also great for slow cooking.
The timer offers 99-, 40- or 5-minute increments, and you can set the pot to one of three temperatures: low, medium or high. The pot itself has a non-stick coating and a tempered glass lid, so cleaning is a breeze. The display is also easy to read.
Cuisinart CPC-800 Features
- Power – 1300 watts
- Capacity – 8-quart
- Pot – nonstick dishwasher-safe cooking pot
- Controls – LED countdown display and Push-button control for cooking options and programmed settings.

Cuisinart CPC-900 6-Quart High Multicooker Pressure Cooker
Pressure cookers are not only perfect for quick, tasty meals, but they also help cut down on your cooking time. The Cuisinart CPC-900 is a 6-quart appliance that, similar to the Instant Pot Duo, comes with 12 programmable settings: Custom, Meat, Stew/Chili, Soup, Stock, Beans, Rice/Grains, Risotto, Slow Cook, Steam, Sauté/Brown, and Reduce.
You can control the pressure and cooking time with a digital control panel, and the clear LCD is easy to read. The CPC-900 features a large, easy-to-clean pot with a non-stick coating and lid, along with a timer and keep-warm function. Although the unit is sizeable, it’s relatively lightweight at just under 10 pounds, making it easy to carry around the house.
The Cuisinart CPC-900 does an excellent job cooking without drying out ingredients. While the instruction manual lacks detailed information on using the pressure settings, our tests showed that the food was just as tender as when slow-cooked, and the pot has a nifty automatic pressure release valve.
Precision and ease of use best describe the Cuisinart CPC-900 Multicooker. The display is easy to read, providing a reliable guide for users. Additionally, the thermostat is precise, ensuring consistent, high-quality cooking results.
Moreover, even when there’s a lot of pressure and the unit has been cooking for an extended period, users can expect the handle to stay cool, ensuring safe use. In the past, many people were injured by touching heated handles, but this isn’t an issue with this specific Cuisinart pressure cooker model.
Many users of this pressure cooker have also praised its dishwasher-safe design, making it effortless to clean and maintain. The non-stick pan adds another layer of convenience to this fantastic pressure cooker. This seems to be a strong competitor to Instant Pot Ultra I have also reviewed.
Pros:
- 12 programmable settings for versatile cooking
- Clear LCD and easy-to-use digital control panel

Cuisinart CPC-400 4-Quart Pressure Cooker
The Cuisinart CPC-400 is a 4-quart pressure cooker that’s easy to use and quite versatile. If you’re cooking a large pot of soup, you can switch to the browning setting to shorten the time it takes for the liquid to reduce before the pressure builds. If this is the case, you can use the CPC-400 to control exactly when the pressure is released
On the other hand, the pressure cooker’s instruction manual states that it should only be used for making soups, and while the browning setting is fine for soups, we found that it also worked well for braised meats. We also liked that the CPC-400 warns you when you set the timer to under 10 minutes or over 99 minutes, as this gives you a better idea of how long your pressure cooker meal will actually take
The cooking pot has a non-stick surface so you can soak it afterward, and it’s dishwasher safe so you can put it right with the rest of the dishes. The built-in timer display is bright and easy to read, and the cooker’s non-stick surface is durable and easy to use.
